Phil Weiser Is Not the People’s Candidate — I Am
While campaigning to be “the people’s governor,” Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser is quietly overseeing a politically motivated prosecution — one that weaponizes the criminal justice system against me, a Black intellectual, entrepreneur, and business owner, for a civil matter that was already settled with prejudice.
This is not justice.
This is persecution.
This is a calculated abuse of state power — aimed not at upholding the law, but at undermining my life, reputation, and livelihood under the false banner of “law and order.”
Let the public understand:
This criminal case is built on a false affidavit
It repackages civil claims that were closed with prejudice
It followed a private meeting between the AG’s office and the insurance lobby
It is being pushed through the courts using ex parte communication and deliberate silence
Phil Weiser is not standing up to corporate interests — he is advancing their agenda.
He is not protecting the people — he is protecting power.
And he is certainly not speaking for the people — because the true voice of the people does not come from a podium, it comes from lived truth.
I did not ask for this fight, but I will not walk away from it.
Despite attempts to assign me ineffective counsel, block my voice in court, and isolate me procedurally, I have not broken.
I have the evidence.
I have the filings.
And I have the truth — not as a slogan, but as a lived experience.
Let me be clear:
Phil Weiser is not the people’s candidate. I am.
Because I know what it means to build, to struggle, and to be targeted by the very system that should protect us.
I know what it means to stand alone, to speak plainly, and to fight with law, not politics.
And unlike Phil Weiser, I do not borrow the people’s voice — I live it.
This is no longer just my fight.
It is a message to every citizen, every entrepreneur, every working person, and every person of color:
If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.
And if we do not expose it now, it will happen again.
I remain committed to the truth, to the law, and to the people I represent.
This is not about politics — it’s about principle.
And I will see it through, with clarity, evidence, and resolve.
